Cass rolled out of bed and got clothes on. Tonight was the night. She had been talking to this man named Jacob. They had finally decided to meet each other, and he was going to come in at midnight--said he was a late night person normally--and they would go out and do something.
Cass stood in front of her sink, drinking a glass of water when she thought she heard the door. She smiled, knowing it was Jacob. She didn't turn around, because she thought it would be rude to know she knew he was there and instead stood there.

The door creaked open as "Jacob" made his way inside. He was finally getting to meet Cass in person! He'd been waiting for this day for what seemed like forever. He saw her in the kitchen, drinking water.
He walked up to her, putting his arms around her from behind and kissing her neck. In a disguised voice, Jay sweetly whispered in her ear. "I've been waiting so long to meet you..."

Cass closed her eyes and leaned back, letting Jacob do whatever he wanted from behind her. "So have I, to be honest. Did you find the house all right, Jacob?" She put her glass down as she rubbed his arms up and down.
Cass snuggled backwards-like, and she felt warm in his arms. "There is something I've been meaning to tell you..." She smiled. "I love you."

He held her tight as she leaned back into him. "Oh, I found the house fine," he whispered. "Weird, it's almost like I've been here before." He grinned to himself. Too easy...Just as stupid as always...
"I love you too," he said before leaning down and kissing her neck a few more times. "I mean, it's almost like I've known you for years...." He smiled, kissing her cheek as she rubbed his arms.

Cass thought that was interesting and then figured, "Past life, maybe? That's really interesting, honey." She brought one of his hands up and kissed it before bringing it back down again. She caressed one of his hands.
Hearing Jacob say the words "I love you too" caused her to smile. As he kissed her cheek, she shut her eyes and said, "I feel that way, too. Which makes me feel so much better about this. I trust you."

He smiled as she caressed his hand, while his other hand ran gently up and down her side. It would have made him happy. Reminded him of old times. But...with "old times" came old pain. And how they'd left him for dead at the bottom of that hill.
"Yeah....past life...." he said. "I feel that way, too. Which makes me feel so much better about this. I trust you." He spun her around and gave her a deep passionate kiss like he used to before she could see who he was. He pulled back gently, looking her in her blue eyes with a cold stare. "Do you now?"

Cass felt herself twirl to face Jacob and kissed him back, feeling the familiar weak in the knees that she always had with Jay. Her arms were pinned between her and his body and when she pulled back she stared.
It was Jay. There was no Jacob. Tears fought at the back of her eyes as she thought of what to do. Jay was stronger than she was, and their bodies were so close that she and he felt every movement of each other, so kicking him would be out of the question. She opened her mouth, ready to scream.

Jay had her right where he wanted her. But, he wasn't here to kill her. Not at all. When she went to scream, he pushed her back up against the sink so that the counter pressed against her back. Then, he kissed her fiercely.
"Not this time," he said once he'd pulled away. "That son of yours isn't helping. Not this time. Now, you are going to listen and listen closely, understand?" He hissed, his face less than an inch from hers.

Cass felt a twinge of pain in her back and would have yelped but Jay's lips were on hers again as she autumatically kissed him back and fell against him. She pushed back as she could and then said, "H-How did you survive?"
Cass was sure he was gone. Her mind was still rattling from what had just happened. Was he going to do what Ricky did and take her to her room...? What was he here for? Then she hissed at him, "Go to hell..."

"Oh, that's easy," Jay sneered. "YOUR son doesn't know how to make sure he actually kills someone instead of knocking them out and giving them a concussion." He rubbed his head, grinning that sick twisted grin.
He kissed her neck again. "You first," he spat. "Now, listen VERY closely. As far as everyone else knows, I'm still dead. And it better stay that way. I'm going to spare you tonight, but don't think I won't kill you next chance I get...."

Cass took the opportunity of the one hand moving to slap him as hard as she could. She hated the fact that it was so late at night that she wasn't thinking straight--which, as she later thought about it, might have been why Jay had wanted to come then--because she tucked her arm back between their bodies. She knew that he could squeeze the life out of her this way and tried to get that arm out before he moved that hand back.
As Jay kissed her neck, she froze. He was threatening her? Now? "How would you know if I told anyone or not?" She said, watching his every move.

Jay staggered as she slapped him. But he quickly recovered, trapping her arm between their bodies. He could literally do whatever he wanted now. He had both arms around her, and squeezed a little.
"How would I know? Of course I'd know, think about it. I can morph. I can be whatever I want to be, whenever I want, wherever I want. And you can't get rid of me. You know that. I always. Come. Back." He grinned sickly, his body still pressed against hers.

Cass let out some air as he squeezed her closer. Just another inch and they would be kissing again. She felt his breath as he spoke. That was right. He could morph. Then again, so could she. She felt some tears spill from her eyes.
"You forget that I can, too. So whatever I say in private thought-speak, you won't know." She felt everything now, every part of Jay, and for some reason she had a feeling of relaxation for a few moments before shaking herself out of it. "I wish you wouldn't come back..." she muttered.

"Oh look, she actually remembered," he sneered. "You won't have time. You never know I'm there until it's too late." He let go and backed off.
"Oh, I know you wish I'd stay gone, but I won't. I. Always. Come. Back." He started to turn and leave. He looked over his shoulder. "I'll see you later..." Then, he let out an insane cackle.

Cass watched silently as Jay left, the tears still spilling. Fear gripped her and made her shake. She grabbed her glass of water to drink something.
Cass couldn't bring it up to her lips. It brought the memory of him kissing her the first time. One part of her wished he'd at least kiss her goodbye but the major part of her fought that down. She tried another time, and the stress got to her body. The glass fell, shattering on the floor and she passed out.
