Cassie nodded. "Yeah, we'd better." She followed Jake towards the door.

"I'll do it this way, it's faster" Tobias morphed to hawk as fast as he could, knowing he could travel faster that way. He flew ahead of the others, through the halls, searching for the source of the shot. He spotted the controller about to shoot Eva and dove in, hoping his distraction would throw off the shot even if he couldn't stop the trigger pull in time.

Traycor watched the battle rage outside. <Brace for impact!> he warned, making sure all four hooves were firmly planted on the ground. He noted that his teacher appeared not to be so lucky.
The Dome lurched, causing Nichole to pinwheel her arms and fall on her butt. She grabbed Christopher, barely keeping him from knocking his head against the ground. Maori had managed to keep himself standing, since he took after his father in looks. <Mommy, I'm scared!> the two-year-old wailed, falling into his mother's open arm. She shushed Maori, rocking both her boys back and forth. "It's gonna be ok, guys," she murmured, rubbing the spot between Maori's stalk-eyes and playing with Christopher's light brown hair. "We're gonna be ok."
Traycor turned his full attention to the battle, a part of him wondering what it would have been like to grow up with his father around and at least knowing who his mother was. It wasn't that his grandparents weren't wonderful, it was just...He felt like he had missed out on so much. A part of him just wanted someone there to comfort him now, as he watched helplessly from the Dome, unable to help. Unable to do anything, because he was just a child.
((I think I just might have to sink the Dome. XD))

Eva's breath caught. Then Tobias came in, and she ducked before anything could hit her, and anyone else could see her. She fished out a gun, but was afraid of hitting Tobias or anyone else.

Marco was still deep in thought when the gunshot rang out. He leapt to his feet, his first instinct to charge out and see what was going on. But then again he thought of his children, not wanting to leave them fatherless. He didn't have much time for thought though as the others raced out into the hall, "Aww, man! Commence insanity!"
With that he tore into the hall after the others, watching as Tobias flew over his head. Marco's shorter stature mae him ever so slightly slower than Jake an Rachel, but he was only a few paces behind. When he saw Tobias turn into a room, He race in that direction, skidding to a halt, eyes wide as he saw his mother's figure, "Mom?"
There was a gun on her! Marco raced into the room as Tobias dove. There was no thinking, just getting between his mother and the gun.

(I just love how we can post at the same time XP) Eva heard her son and muttered, "Dang, he saw me anyways." She got up and saw him move. She stood up with gun in hand and ran towards the men. She got right next to Marco and said, "Duck!" She was going to shoot one of the men for even thinking of shooting her son.

Cassie ran alongside Marco and yelled, "Marco, Don't!" when he was trying to get past the men. She reached forward to grab his shirt, but tripped and fell against one of the men that had the gun.

The controller gave out a painful cry as talons racked across his face, the gun in his hand going off in two or three times in several paniced unaimed shots. The man staggered for a moment lifting a hand to hold his face as he tired quickly to recover.
The tail fighters were quick to engage the deploying bug fighters, trying to fight their way through to get a shot on the blade ship. The main body of the dome ship had turned to fire as well, aiming directly for the blade ship while letting the smaller tail fighters take care of the bug fighters.
Leona expertly maneuvered her ship around the others, taking out several yeerk bug fighters along the way. However just when she seemed to be making some kind of head way toward the blade ship a sensor she'd assigned specifically to keep an eye on the dome now floating freely in Earth's orbit, began sounding. With little more then a thought she bright the disturbance up on the screen, one of the bug fighter has managed to slip by and make it's way around to the opposite side of the dome ship.
Shit! Leona thought silently to her self as she broke from formation. <Keep going, I'll take care of the run away.> She instructed her squad as her fighter flipped quickly around to race back toward the dome ship. A distinct sense of dread filled her at the realization that she wouldn't be able to get around the large dome in time to get to the bug fighter on the other side, the yeerk would get to the dome ship first, and possibly even destroy the dome in the proses.
Panic began to set in, weather her knew who she was to him or not, her son was on the dome. Leona wasn't really sure why, but it was at that moment she remembered something, something Aximili had told her about he'd survived the destruction of the dome ship he'd been stationed on, and come to land on Earth. All four of her eyes quickly scanned the screens and she quickly ordered the computer to plot the trajectory of where the dome would fall if it's stabilizers were to fail.
<Alright.> She said aloud to her self before firing, not at the bug fighter that was much to far out of rang, but at the stabilizers of the dome. She'd scent only a small shot, enough to take them out with out stabilizers with out doing any damage to the dome.
The dome was scent flying, careening in to the on coming bug fighter with a loud 'thunk' sending the much smaller ship spinning through space before it was caught by Earth's gravity and scent falling through the atmosphere. The dome it's self was now falling in to Earth's gravity as well, falling down toward the ocean, right where Leona had intended. <We can pick the dome of the ship up later, it'll be safe and out of the way of the battle while on Earth.> Leona reported to the bridge of the now domeless ship.

Tobias was alert, knowing he was probably going to get shot at, and wanting to avoid that at all costs. He was glad there were others in the room now, hopefully it wouldn't be such a one sided fight.
The Visser was finding himself caught, having apparently badly damaged the dome ship but his ship was now shaking from the tail fighters that had snuck in behind. He turned the ship to fire back, but was aware that he would have to retreat before long if he did not want to be blown to bits.

Rachel ran forward and hit the closest man to her. She turned and saw Marco try to go past the man with the gun and rolled her eyes. Lucky for him the man was momentarily blinded, so he wouldn't get shot. Her eyes went wide when Cassie fell into one of the other men. Grabbing her arm, Rachel said, "Not gonna happen!" in fears that the man might have a gun. She was also trying to distract any of the men from shooting at Tobias.

"<AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!>" A mixture of human and Andalite screams echoed across the dome as the passangers went falling towards the ocean. When the dome hit the water, Nichole said a few words that she would have to tell her children to never repeat in polite company. Finally, the dome settled at the bottom of the ocean. A few hours passed, and everyone seemed to settle down. Nichole put her kids down for bed, and stood at the other side of the dome, her arms held behind her back. "Traycor," she said quietly, not looking over at the young Andalite.
<Yes, ma'am?> Traycor asked, moving to stand next to her.>
"Watch over my children."
Traycor blinked, having been caught off guard. <What do you mean?>
"I should only be gone for a few hours. Hopefully. But we can't just stay down here. My children can't morph, and I know you don't have any aquatic morphs. I do." She turned to look the young Andalite in the face. "I'm going up. To the surface. To see if maybe...maybe I can find someone who can get the rest of you out of here. I shouldn't be gone too long." She smiled at him. "Just keep them safe for me, will you?"
The young Andalite stared back at his teacher. <Yes. I-I will keep them safe for you. But, what should I say if they wake up? Or if...> He stopped, letting the sentence hang.
"Just tell them that I went to get help. If, after three days you don't hear from anyone, send out a distress. I know there'll be at least a few Andalites around here. And tell Maori to do the same." She headed for the exit, pulling off her outer clothes to reveal a morphing suit. "Keep my boys safe," she said, watching as the one door closed and the other opened. She took a deep breath and began morphing the hammer-head. When she was finished, she kicked her tail and began swimming out into the ocean.
Traycor watched as his old teacher morphed. She was still one of the fastest morphers he had ever met, and he admired her for it. But now, as he watched her leave, he realized just how alone he was. Just how scared. But he couldn't let the two sleeping boys see that. He had to be strong, even though he felt so weak.

(ooc but it would be so fun to watch)
Sub-visser 7 watched the battle from the blade ship Visser 7 had placed him in command of. Visser 7 had wanted him to remain hidden, but they had identified the blade ship as belonging to Visser 1, and he was pretty sure the Visser would have wanted him to come in to support his superior. He decided to support the other blade ship, confident that even if his superior disagreed with it he would not blame the sub-visser for the choice. That was why he followed visser 7, because he was a good enough leader to not punish his men for making a choice and failing because of bad luck.
He called up sub-visser 12 on his view screen, his counterpart on the blade ship that had belonged to the late Visser 8. "We are going in to support the Visser. Bring your blade ship in around outside of the andalite's and set up a screen around them with your bug fighters, I don't want any to escape this cursed planet. I will head straight in and support Visser 1 as best I can."
Even as he gave the orders he felt them being executed. He grinned in his head at the image of the andalite's surprise at seeing two blade ships come barreling in from the outer system.

Visser One wasn't entirely sure whether to appreciate the backup or be annoyed because he wasn't routing the Andalites all by himself. He obviously wouldn't complain about the help, but he just knew that Visser Seven would find a way to rub it in his face later on. <I would adore feeing that one to a yeerkbane* he thought ot himself. But he only laughed aloud, not letting the front slip. <Now we will destroy the rest of your pathetic force>

So far, so good. Leona thought perhaps a bit too soon as she and the other tail fighters were quickly mowing down the bug fighters swarming around them. However she seemed to have thought too soon when the sensors in her ship went off picking up on another blade ship.
<FUCK!> It was painfully obvious who's thought speak had shouted the very human curse through the communicators. Not only was it a human word, but the thoughts were of the only female out among the fighters. <There's a second blade ship!> She reported quickly before turning, ready to hold off the second ship.
<Get the dome ship to the ground, we'll hold them back till your landed then run away in to the atmosphere as well.> She quickly instructed. Of course, it was really the captain's call, not Leona's but the two had been working along side each other long enough that the War Princess was able to get away with assuming the captain's orders.
