Cassie heard what Tobias said, and started thinking about it, too. She didn't want to lose Jake. When the alarms sounded, she looked up in a little alarm, and then went back in her thoughts. She closed her eyes as the thought hurt her. She opened them again and looked over at Jake. Then she looked back at the man.

Rachel looked at Tobias, understanding and love in her eyes. She was about to say something when the alarm sounded, so instead, she held his hand. "Yeah. Do tell," she said angrily when Jake asked what that was about.

The alarm seemed to catch the official very off guard. For a moment he stood almost dumb founded before managing to stutter. "Uh, excuse me." That said he quickly rushed from the room, leaving the door open behind him as she hurried up to the main control room.
It was true there were now friendly Yeerks, those who only took on voluntary hosts, those who had been a part of the peace movement during the war. However there had been no notice that any of their ships would be in the area.
Leona stood on the bridge of the Derrishoul, her main eyes narrowed as they glared at the image on the main viewing screen. The ship's captain was shouting orders, hailing the blade ship in an attempt to confirm if they were friend or foe. It had only been about fifteen seconds sense the first transmission had been scent out to the blade ship, but that was more then enough for a friendly ship to respond.
With out waiting for the order Leona turned to exit the bridge. <I'll be prepping my tail fighter.> She said simply to the captain before her gaze fell on Traycor. It was a bit unorthodox to have an aristh on board the bridge, but Leona had allowed him to follow her. <Get up to the dome and wait there.> She instructed Traycor simply as she made her way down the hall toward the drop shafts.

"Wonder if he still thinks it was an assassination." Marco muttered bitterly as he watched the man leaving the room. He leaned back in the chair that had long since stopped spinning, eyes closed as the wheels in his mind worked frantically. He couldn't start fighting again, he had his family to think about. But then, maybe that was the very reason to start fighting again...to protect his children.

Eva heard the door slam open. She turned around and eyed him. "Well, you sure took your time to get up here. What are you doing down there anyways?" She turned back to the screen and said, "We need a way to make sure the ship there," -she pointed to the unknown blade ship-"stays away from the Derrishoul. Be prepared to shoot that one down."

Traycor nodded and went over to one of the open dropshafts. He knew that arisths weren't allowed in battle, and had been a bit surprised that Princess Leona had allowed him to follow her to the bridge. Though admittedly, that wasn't as surprising to him as the people who greeted him in the Dome area.
"Maori, get down! Christopher, stop helping your brother climb that tree! In fact, stop encouraging him!" Nichole stormed over, grabbing her five-year-old around the waist with one arm and catching her two-year-old around his lower-mid-section with the other. The poor off-duty warrior whom she had managed to convince to watch the children looked fairly frazzled. <I appologize, but I must take my leave,> she heard him say. "Of course," she replied, smiling a bit at how relieved the poor Andalite sounded. The door opened and closed. She set down the two struggling boys down and opened her mouth to scold them. <Mrs. Mathews-Koris?!> she heard a voice ask a few seconds later. She turned and looked at her student. "Traycor? What are you doing here?" The two boys peered around their mother's legs, also staring at him. <Traycor!> Maori exclaimed. <You come to play?>
<Actually, I've recently been assigned to the Derrishoul. Princess Leona contacted me herself.> He sort of puffed out his chest, looking a bit proud.
"Congratulations! I know you worked hard on that, kiddo. Though I'm going to miss you in class." She made a mental note to talk to Leona when whatever was going on was done.

Jake just sighed. "Well we are obviously not going to get any info," he said as he watched the offcial leave. He looked over at Cassie. She seemed a bit worried.
"I'm sure whatever it is we can take care of it," he told her holding her close. He knew they could handle whatever came thier way. But did they really want to get wrapped up in all this again?

Cassie smiled. Jake always knew what to do to make her feel better. She held onto him, and listened to his steady breathing, as that always calmed her down. She wanted to know what was going on. She whispered, "Do you think we'll ever meet their boss?"

If they could get closer to the blade ship and see into the window, they would see an almost familiar sight: an Andalite body. But it was not the same body that had belonged to the Visser before.
<This should prove to be some good entertainment> his voice rang out as he spoke to the dome ship. <Considering how many of your ships we've taken down in the past. I hope you aren't destroyed completely though. Some of my colleagues will appreciate the additional Andalite host bodies.>

"The....the briefing..." The man said a bit out of breath, and clearly seeming confused that Eva didn't already know about it. Before he could say any more, however, a loud bang rang out behind the military officer. His eyes went wide in shock before he fell forward on to the floor. Behind him stood several other uniformed men, wearing the same uniform as the other humans rushing around the base, one holding a still smoking gun. By now it was quite clear these men were not entirely human, as the one who appeared to be leading them lifted the pistole toward Eva.
There was a brief second of panic and utter horror on the Visser's thoughts rang through the heads of those on the bridge. The captain quickly gave the order to deploy the tail fighters, Leona already standing by in hers was one of the first to launch. His next order released the dome from the rest of the ship, giving the Derrishoul a bit more maneuverability to help fight off the blade ship, leaving the dome free floating in Earth's orbit for the time being.

Eva was about to say something about the briefing when the man fell. Her eyes widened. Eva looked through the window that she could see out of but no one could see in and saw Marco sitting down there with everyone else. She cursed under her breath. "What do you want?" She asked rather calmly. Being host to Visser One had taught her that. She looked at the men with angry eyes.

Rachel snorted as the man went away. "Jeez, can't we get one simple question answered?" Sighing, she sat down. Jake had said something to Cassie and Rachel kept her mouth shut. BAM! "What the-?! Did you hear that?" She looked around and ran towards the sound. "Come on!"

Tobias was instantly on alert when he heard the bang. He was wondering if they should morph or what. "I think it was a shot...I wanna know what the heck's going on"
The Visser watched the tail fighters deploy, anticipating hunting them down with the bug fighters.

Jake shrugged. "I don't know Cassie," he told her. Though he would like to know who exactly was in charge of all this. Though this thought went to the back of his mind when they heard a shot. He watched as Rachel started to head towards it. He looked back over at Cassie. "C'mon, we should check it out, see if we can help," he said.

The simple truth was the controller didn't want anything from Eva, he'd simply been scent on an assassination mission. A sinister smirk curled his lips as the women asked what he wanted, and the look on his face should of made the answer clear enough.
"Die." He said simply as he aimed the pistole straight at Eva's head, finger moving to pull the trigger.
Leona barely even had to give orders to her squad, they already knew to fall in formation behind her fighter. Coming in straight on toward the Blade ship would of been suicide, so she lead them around. There was nothing in space to hide behind, of course, so there was no sneaking they could only hope the Visser was too preoccupied with the dome ship to notice the tail fighters working their way around to get in behind the blade ship.
