Amy looked at Ruth before pulling the phone away. "He bought it," with a much more believable tone. She looked at Ruth and said, "Now what?" She rolled her eyes, and muttered, "Out of all days..."

"Now, we wait," Ruth said as Amy pulled the phone away. Ruth pushed the button, hanging up the phone, retied the rope, and sat back down with her book. "We just wait...." A sickening, insane grin appeared on Ruth's face...

Amy started to protest, but felt a quiver run down her spine at the insane smile. She glared. "I hate you." That was the only thing she could think of to say.

Ruth looked up from her book and glared at Amy. "Trust me, the feeling is mutual..." She hissed before going back to her reading.

Amy sighed, slumping down in her chair. She closed her eyes, letting her mind wander. What if she never saw Marco again? Or Eva or Laura? She couldn't live her life without them. Maybe there was one hope left, the fact that Marco knew she was lying.
"How long are you holding me here?"

Ruth looked up at Amy and glared again. "Has anyone ever told you that you ask too many questions? I don't know. We'll have to see." She read the last page of her book and pulled a thicker one out of her purse. She then started reading that one.

"Jeez, you read to much. Get a life lady." Amy rolled her eyes and knew that asking questions was a way to annoy her. "So, how are you? Enjoying that book?"

She jumped to her feet, screaming. "GET A LIFE!!!! A LIFE?!? EVERYTIME I GET A LIFE, IT'S TAKEN AWAY IN ONE HORRIBLE MOMENT! I HAPPEN TO LIKE READING, AND I HAPPEN TO LIKE THE MISERABLE SHELL OF A LIFE I NOW LIVE!!!" Ruth then breathed deeply, picked up her book again, and sat down to read.

Amy blinked. Then she continued. "You know, I have a couple of friends that would be willing to help you out of this depression-insanity stuff. I can give you their number."

Ruth pressed the gun against Amy's forehead. "One more word, and I'll blow your freaking head off..." She snarled. She sat down again, book in one hand, pistol in the other...

Amy looked at Ruth. "I was just asking. A girl can be bored while being tied up." She rolled her eyes, and then stayed silent. She hated silence. It made her think of things. Like how she was probably never going to be swept off her feet once again by Marco. He seemed to make a habit of doing that. She smiled at the thought.

Finally! She shut up... Ruth was happy for the silence and continued reading. She glanced up and saw Amy smiling. Ruth gave her a quizzical look and went back to her reading.

Amy stared down at the ground. Her mind wandered to the day she met Marco. She remembered answering his question of who she was as "I'm just a fangirl, Marco, just a fan." She hadn't expected to meet him again. He was cute, yes, but she hadn't planned on falling for him. Plans change. That was what she learned.

Ruth just sat there, reading. Occasionally she would glance up at Amy. Finally, Ruth sat the book down and started to the kitchen. "You hungry?" She asked Amy casually.

Amy stared. "Am I hungry? I don't know, what do you think? Of course I'm hungry! I have to eat for two people now!" She glared again. "But I don't want your food, you might poison it."
