Nichole had been swimming for hours. She had no idea what time it was, since she hadn't surfaced since she began the long swim, prefering to stay under water for the durration of the morphing process. She was tired, swimming aimlessly, letting the shark take control for a while. She had no idea where she was, nor where the dome had been. But she knew she could trust Traycor. He was a good boy. So much like his--What was that? A scent drifted across her nose. It was sort of familiar...like blood, but somehow different. The scent was a bit stale, but the shark brain didn't care. Blood meant meat. Even if it didn't have to actually kill the meat. With a kick of her tail, she was off. As she swam, her stomach started scraping against...<Sand!> She started taking control, swimming along the sand line as it inclined, finally reaching close to the shore. The shark brain was a bit nervous, so she began demorphing, sluggish at first, but speeding up the process as a wave began to form behind her. It lifted her up and sent her crashing into the shore. "AAAHHH--Grrgh!" She coughed as water filled her mouth and nose. She could feel the water trying to pull her back into the water, but she scrambled forward. She coughed, blowing salt water out of her nose and mouth before finally passing out from exhaustion on the shore. The water was at high-tide, and it reached up to about her waist.

(Hope you don't mind, gunna use this thread to fish some kids out of the ocean. >.>
Leona had thought rescuing Traycor from the sunken dome would of been a fairly easy task. But then she found out the Capitan couldn't afford to give her a ship capable of retrieving the dome at the moment, they were all too badly damaged in battle. On top of that she'd also been informed there had been civilians on board the dome, children who did not yet have morph capabilities.
It was the captains recommendation that the rescue be put on hold, but Leona simply pointed out he knew she was much to impatient for that, so she went with plan B.
Those dainty hooves stepped out in to the water that surrounded the coast. Based on where she'd seen the dome fall she'd just have to swim straight from where she was. Walling out till the water was all the way up her four legs she paused, dropping the Escafil Device she had with her in to the water watching as it sank to land next to her right front hoof.
Satisfied with where it had landed she began to focus on a morph she'd not used in years, a fierce beast that many thought of as a mindless killer. But Leona knew first hand this creature was not mindless, it was a simple beast, but not mindless. Purple fur was replaced by rough gray and white tooth like scales that were so small and close together they looked like skin, skin that felt like sand paper. Her arms flattened becoming fins, her legs quickly being sucked back in to her body, but as she fell she didn't sink, but rather floated as her liver grew, dwarfing all the other organs in her body, giving her a strange sort of control over her buoyancy. Her deadly tail kept it's muscular power but not it's killing blade, turning in to her primary mode of transportation, in stead this forms weapons grew at the front of her body, a large mouth lined with row after row of razor sharp bone crushing teeth. Her stalks sank in to her head as her main eyes moved to the sides of her now pointed head turning a solid black.
When her morph was complete Leona had become a twenty foot long two ton great white shark. She was queen of her domain, only one creature in all the ocean ever prayed on her, and it was the wrong time of year for orcas, or at least she hopped it was. Her tail hardly had to move make the slight turn she need to bring her body around to find the Escafil Device again, the electromagnetic fields the device gave off seemed to entice the shark's curiosity, and it didn't take much coaxing to get the animal to give an exploratory bite, however when the shark found out it wasn't food and wanted to spit the device out Leona maintained her control of the animal's instincts and instead swallowed the device, it was the only way she'd be able to carry it in this morph.

Ax lay in his makeshift scop just beyond the trees that fringed the beach. His self imposed exile was begun. Fortunately for him the morphing process cured all wounds, and so the cut he had enured in olphin morph was long since gone. His stalks scanned the scoop as he pictured his beloved Leona present there. But for all he knew, she had fallen in love with someone else since he was taken by The One. His eyes closed momentarilly before he rse and exited the scoop. It was so lonely on the island, and he lonoged fr the days he had been with the Animorphs, wondering what had happed to them.
It was then that he heard a coughing sound. He galloped towards the beach, and saw the figure of a woman laying passed out there. His Andalite arms were far to weak to drag her from the surf, but he i have a cheetah morph in his arsonal and so he began the transformation. His face split int a mouth fille with sharp teeth, his tail grew thin and his hooves transformed into paws as his torso melted away.
When the change was complete he grabbed the woman's shirt in his jaws and began pulling her toward his scoop. He could only hope that The One would not decide to do anything to put this girl in danger.
Once she was safely within the scoop he demorphed, and sat nearby, waiting anxiously for her to awaken.

Traycor stood at one of the windows of the dome ship. He had been watching the sea for hours for signs of his teacher's return, but he must have drifted off because he awoke to the panicked sounds of Maori. <Mommy?> He heard the little Andalite call out. <Mommy?> Traycor turned, trotting over to Maori, as the little one looked in all directions. <Where's Mommy?> the young one wailed. Traycor wrapped his arms around Maori comfortingly, rubbing the spot between the boy's stalk-eyes. <Hush, now. Your mommy is fine. She just had to go out for a few. I'm going to watch you until she gets back.> Maori burried his face in Traycor's chest, but seemed to calm after a few minutes. Christopher was much easier to keep calm, since Traycor had watched them a few times. Though he was a bit confused that his mother had left before they awoke, he was soon busy playing games with his younger brother, under Traycor's watchful eyes.
Nichole awoke finally. Her body was weak, and her arms shook when she tried to support herself on them, so instead she simply rolled over, taking a few minutes to get her bearings. She was on land. In...a scoop? Squinting slightly, she tried to look around without having to move much.

The large shark morph was deceptively fast and it didn't take long before it's unique sense picked up on the strange electrical signals still given off by the large dome hidden beneath the waves.
Leona remained close to the bottom the entire time, she still wasn't completely sure that there weren't killer whales around this time of the year, and she wasn't interested in being anyone's dinner tonight. Unlike mammals her shark morph didn't need to surface for air and was perfectly at home in the oceans depths.
As she approached the large clear dome it dwarfed even her massive form as she swam over head casting her shadow down on the blue grass. She tilted slightly on to her side to so that one of her large black eyes could look down in to the dome, watching for any sign of movement.
<Traycor.> Her thoughts called out as she began to circle around the large dome in search of her son. She did her best to hide the fear in her thoughts, not wanting to reveal that this was anything more then a Princess coming to find her Aristh, doing her best to suppress her motherly fears. <Are you alright?>

Traycor lifted his stalk-eyes to the top of the dome, searching for the source of the voice he heard. It was feminine, but it didn't have the same cadence as his old teacher's. Which meant that it must be Princess Leona. <Princess?> he called out tentatively. He could not see her, but then again, she was probably in some morph.

<You're awake,> Ax observed the obvious as the girl awakened. His stalk eyes were focused upon the entrance to his scoop, waiting to see if she would be the only human to find his hide away. Though it had been long enough by now that he doubted any others would arrive. His main eyes were focused on the woman before him, <That is good. There is food on this island, though whether it is suitable for human consumption, I can't be entirely sure...rest, eat what you can find. There should at least be fish enough in the water to eat. When you have your strength back, then go.>
He had no desire to keep her here. It would only put her in danger. Who knew what The One might do to her, using the Andalite as his weapon.

((Danger, not anger. I can't be put in anger, hon. XP))
Nichole moved her head to look up at him for a second, still squinting. Her contacts had started burning the first time she had demorphed, so she had abandoned them somewhere in the ocean hours ago. Taking a breath, she pushed herself to a sitting position, shaking her head. "No time to rest," she replied, pushing herself unsteadily to her feet. "My children need me, and I...I have no right to ask you, but...please." She turned around to face the Andalite she didn't realize was Aximili, her eyes pleading as she tried not to squint. "Please, help me rescue my children. They're trapped. Trapped in the ocean. I-In a sunken dome." She could feel tears welling up in her eyes. She thought she had outgrown the reaction, but perhaps not. She was afraid that he might refuse to assist her, when an idea struck her. Her mouth quirked in a half-smile as she thought of the groans of her class when she said, "Kind of like the story of the great Aximili. But my children do not have the small hope that the Animorphs will be able to help them. And neither does his."

Ax shook hi head, a reaction he had picked up uring his time on earth as a young Andalite. It was impossible for him to help. Not without putting every one around him at risk, <I cannot...though I would if I could.>
How familiar the story sounded, the dome, sunken to the depths. Trapped, scared, stranded...still a child. But Aximilli knew the dangers of leaving his self imposed exile. He would not do it. Even as she spouted his own story back at him, his resolve remained firm. Until one phrase caught his ear.
<I...he has a child?> He felt it best not to let this woman know his true identity. He had a feeling he knew her, but it had been so long since he had seen anyone...he had no idea who she was. Still, it was best to keep from getting anyone who knew him hoping he might return.

<Heh, you didn't think I was just going to leave you down here did you?> Leona joked as her massive great white form moved almost gracefully around the dome looking for the hatch.
<Traycor, meet me by the air hatch and open the outer door for me...I don't think I'll be able to press the button in this form. I have an Escafil Device with me we can use to give the children with you the morphing ability. After I've had a chance to demorph and remorph I'll find something to chase in to the hatch for the three of you to morph in to.> She explained her plan simply, not taking the time to go in to too much detail at the moment. She wasn't sure how long it would take the Yeerk ships she suspected were still in orbit to track down the dome she'd sunk.

"Yes. And he's currently trapped with my children. Please. You have to help me. If not for my children, than for Aximili's."
<Of course, Princess,> Traycor replied. He called the boys to him, and then moved to open the hatch for his commanding officer.

<Thanks.> She said despite the fact that it might of seemed a bit odd for a Prince, or in this chase Princess, to thank her subordinate for doing what was ordered of him.
She'd been lucky enough to acquire a rather sizable great white, nearly twenty feet long. Though it made the morph rather usefully for under water combat fitting in to the air hatch was a bit of a squeeze. Once in side the shark could be seen contorting oddly, wriggling it's body till it's mouth opened, latterly flipping her stomach inside out to throw up the Escafil Device.
<Alright, close the outer door and drain the water please.> Leona instructed Traycor once she'd swallowed her stomach back down where it belonged.

Traycor nodded and pressed the pad. He watched as the water drained out, allowing his Princess to demorph without drowning. The two kids were clustered around his legs.

As the water began to drain Leona waisted no time in demorphing. She could be a rather graceful morpher, and some had even suggested that she should of been a morph dancers, however, on missions such as this she often sacrificed grace for speed, morphing at a surprisingly rapid rate. The water was still around her ankles as the last of her andalite features emerged from the shark.
Once fully back in her andalite body Leona pressed a button to open the inner door before bending down to pick up the Escafil Device. <Alright, we should move quickly, I don't know how long before the Yeerks decide to investigate the sunken dome.> She said as she stepped in to the dome, her body giving a quick shake to fling a few droplets of water from her pinkish purple fur.

<Yes, Princess.> "Princess Leona?" Christopher asked, his eyes wide. "Do you know where my mommy went?"
