RP sample: The last thing Leona could remember was the flashing lights and the sound of Shalaren's thoughts screaming in to her mind. When those amber eyes slowly opened again Leona found that her head was pounding and something warm and wet was trickling down over one of her eye forcing her to close it. When she did however she realized it was still one of four eyes, but she was too dazed to really realize what that meant.
Shalaren had needed someone to man the ships guns when the Yeerks attacked, and they could only be operated through the thought speak. It was to help Shalaren that the human girl took on her friend's form. However, even with Leona's help things still hadn't gone too well, as if that wasn't obvious by the alien ship crashed and mangled in the middle of the woods. It probably wouldn't be long before someone found them.
Those tall slender stalk eyes a top her head moved to scan the wreckage of the ship. A few lights still blinked dimly on the control panel while sparks spurt out here and there, but it was other wise dark. Finally one of those amber orbs caught sight of something that looked exactly like her self in her current form. Leona's head quickly turned to bring her one main eye that was open, the other having blood caked over it. Shalaren was pinned in the wreckage, laying in a pool of her own blood. <Shalaren...> Leona's thoughts called out to her friend in what might of been more of a weak whisper if it had been spoke aloud.
For a moment the female Andalite lifted her head to look at the human still in her own form. How long had it been sense Leona had morphed in to a copy of her self? She wasn't sure how much time had passed while they were both passed out. <Leona...you need to....> Her hand moved to reach out for the other female as her thoughts trailed off, feeling her self slowly starting to slip away in to darkness. With precious little time left she used her last thoughts to say something she considered far more important then warning Leona to change back. <Leona....I'm sorry....>

Then....
It was two years ago that Leona finally thought maybe her life would turn around, when a faint glimmer of hope dared to tease the orphaned child, and it was two years ago that she was sourly mistaken. Leona never knew her mother, or her father, she grew up in orphanages and foster homes for most of her life. It was at the age of twelve that Leona was given a permanent home with a man named Damien Cabbell, who stepped forward claiming to be her father. Though she knew nothing about Damien the twelve year old girl liked the idea of being able to settle down in to a permanent home for once.
Despite finding Damien to be a bit antisocial, things seemed fine at first. She went to school, she made friends, but most importantly she had the reassurance of knowing she could settle down and stay in one place, or so she thought. Leona’s entire world was shattered the day Damien made her one of them. A controller, a prisoner with in her own head, a slave to the will of a parasite. She was now the host body for Nxion 121, Visser 6.
From that moment on it decided what she wore, what she ate, who she hung out with, who she dated. Leona watched her life being lived out for her, trapped with in her own mind. She was allowed some impute in to the Yeerks decisions about her life, but mostly the creature only gave in to keep her mind quite. This continued for almost two years, with occasional trip to this planet or that. It was fascinating to say the least the first few times she left Earth, but the experience somehow seemed less then fulfilling to know it was not really her that had done it, but the creature controlling her. After a while Leona began to feel as though she was loosing her sense self, her identity, and there were even moments when she questioned if Visser 6 was the voice in side her head, or if she was the voice in side it’s head. It wasn’t long before she gave in to hopelessness, as she saw no means to escape her fate.
It wasn’t until about two years later that she would find freedom once again. Visser 6, and Leona, were on their way back towards Earth when they encountered an Andalite Dome Ship. Being extremely out numbered it wasn’t difficult for the Andalites to take the single Blade Ship. Visser 6, as well as a few other controllers on board were taken captive, and questioned until the Yeerks finally died off, starving to death after three days. Visser 6 was the last of the captives to die, and Leona, was once again free.
Having been a controller for so long she of course knew of the Andalites, but knew only what Visser 6 had allowed her to. For a few days she was questioned by the aliens, the Andalites hopping she might know something the Yeerk in her head had been keeping from them. Once they were confident they’d learned all they could from Leona she was handed over to a young up and coming scientist by the name of Shalaren-Valael-Alrielaren to watch over her. The adolescent female Andalite seemed anxious to learn about Leona and human culture and her home planet.
Despite the fact that the other Andalites on the ship seemed to look down on Leona as an inferior creature, Shalaren seemed to have become quite attached to the human. After a while the two even considered each other friends. Though it was nice having someone to talk to while on the strange ship Leona was home sick, and even though she was once again with out a place to call home, she wanted to be back on Earth. Shalaren pleaded with ships commanders but the Yeerk forces were too strong around Earth for a single Dome Ship.
Apparently having picked up some of Leona’s reckless nature Shalaren, along with Leona, stole one of the smaller Tail-Fighter ships to take Leona home. The plan was to try and slip past the Yeerk’s perimeters unnoticed, however things didn’t work out quite like they’d planed. After being spotted they had no choice but to blast through the ships coming after them. Unfortunately Shalaren couldn’t handle the guns and pilot at the same time, and the controls were operated through the Andalites telepathic language. With littler other options Shalaren quickly gave her people’s morphing technology over to Leona, and instructed the human girl to absorb and take on her own shape.
The fight was not pretty, and the little ship was forced to crash down on Earth. Shalaren was mortally wounded in the crash, and Leona had broken a leg in her Andalite hit her head, remaining conscious only long enough to hear Shalaren’s last words being spoke in to her head. When Leona came to a few hours later she found her friend dead, and her self still in a copy of Shalaren’s body, and unable to morph out of it.
Now...
After the invasion of Earth finally came to an end Leona remained in her Andalite form, joining their ranks to continue fighting the Yeerks along side Aximili. For a while the two hunted for the location of the Council of Thirteen, both earning the rank of Prince in the Andalite army. Adopting the feminine form of the word from the English language Leona became Princess Leona.
Shortly after Aximili’s capture by a creature calling it’s self ‘The One’ Leona discovered she was pregnant with Aximili’s child. Still looked down upon by many Andalites for living her life as if she was one of them Leona thought it best to give up her son, not wanting him to share in her shame. She scent Traycor to live with his Andalite grandparents, requesting that he never know she was his mother. Leona has sense dedicated her life to hunting down ‘The One’ in hopes that she might find a way to free Aximili.
