Name: Andrew (Drew) James Rivers
Age: 36
Race: Human, Animorph
Gender: Male
Personality:Drew is intelligent and observant. He's got a good memory and an eye for detail, but if those would be considered his strong suits then his weakness would be matters of the heart. He is prone to over analyze situations and he is not good at reading emotions. He often doesn't even understand his own feelings. He may seem callous at times, but he often doesn't even know it. The one thing that means more than anything to him now is his family.
Appearance:
Drew has dark brown hair, thought it's lightened since he was eighteen and last saw the Animorphs. His eyes are intense and dark, always seeming to portray deep thought or cold indifference except when he looks at his wife or daughter. He stands at 6' 1½" weighing in at 180 lbs, much of this weight from muscle he gained originally during his late teens as an attempt to keep people from hassling him. He still holds much of the charm he had as a teen, though his heart belongs entirely to Kristy.

Family:
Wife: Kristy Marie Rivers (née Blaine) {host to Ilya 189}
Daughter (Age 14): Brittany Faith Rivers
Relation:
(See Above)
Background:
Drew's life might seem like a classic love story to many. His father had been a close friend of Kristy's when they were in high school and college, so he and Kristy grew up like siblings. Kristy was the only person when his intellectual interests made him seem like a geek. They fell in love when they were 18, but it took Drew a while to realize his feelings. During this time the war started and Kristy became a YPM controller. Drew didn't take it well at first, but it was through running away that he became an Animorph.
Eventually Drew came to recognize his feelings and ignore the presnse of Ilya, and they were married a year or so later. In the time since the war, they had their daughter Brittany and have raised her to be, in Drew's opinion, an amazing young woman. He vowed when the first war was done that he was through with the Animorphs, but he may have to break this promise with himself.

Drew was sprawled on his back on the bed he was using at Alex's. He'd been on house arrest, in a sense, for the past couple days and still had today to go before he would prove to the Animorphs that he wasn't a controller. The room he was in had a large dresser, too heavy for Drew to move on his own with the way his ankle was, in front of the window and the door to it was shut and somehow barricaded whenever Drew was alone. There was nothing to do, so he just lay there transversely on the bed with his legs hanging off the end. His crutches leaned against it, which again he considered why he even had them when he wasn't going anywhere right now and would morph the damage away as soon as he got the power and his first morph.
Really, all he'd done during his times alone were think, his mind following random paths that he might never have followed under normal circumstances. Today, at this moment, his thoughts were on Kristy. He couldn't really stop thinking about her lately. He didn't know what to think anymore, because he was starting to realize something a lot of people might have known long ago. He loved her, and Drew being emotionally inept just hadn't known until he'd been presented with the prospect of losing her, and until he'd gone for a few weeks without seeing her.
