Visser 7 almost laughed when he heard the challenge from the Animorph, and then again when the Andalite threatened him. He sidestepped, putting the bear in the Andalites line of fire and aiming his own Dracon beam at the Animorph, letting off three shots in rapid sequence, all the while using it to cover himself from the Andalites weapons.

She dodged to the side and rolled firing past Rachel with one weapon, then once she was at a good angle, she opened up with both, firing at the Visser. Rage burned in her eyes as she ran at him, ready for another physical fight. She had a target now. And now that the place was clear of the free hosts, she didn't have anyone but her team mates to worry about.

Cassie turned to see the shots fired, and yelled, <Rachel, look out!> She bit at a hork-bajir and went to help her friends, first seeing if Jake was doing all right.

Rachel looked up surprised and was able to dodge the first two. The third hit her in the shoulder. She yelled out in pain and fell. Shaking, she managed to get back up. <You'll pay for that, creep!> and charged at him again.

Visser 7 noted his hit on the bear, but took no time to congratulate himself, as now saw three different enemies charging toward him. The wolf would be the last to reach him, and it was probably the least threat to he kept track of it but did not move toward it. The bear had taken a Dracon beam dead on and was still running, and if it had been severely hurt it wasn't showing it. The Andalite was a perplexing puzzle, as it did not fight like most of its kind. He watched as it tried to shoot with two hands, while running, without taking time to aim, despite the fact that its friend was in the mix. It lacked the usual Andalite discipline, and fought with a barely concealed mask of hatred as evinced by the shots hit the wall behind him in a very wide spread. . The Visser decided to go for the bear first, as it couldn't be as ready to fight as it appeared after taking a Dracon beam to the shoulder. He launched himself forward, moving with a speed that even surprised himself, as he had never tried to run at full speed in the host. As he reached the bear he launched himself up, actually managing to vault the bear, slashing as he flew over.

Rachel snarled as the Visser charged back at her. She didn't expect him to go flying above her head so she stopped and looked up. She felt searing pain as he connected with her neck and she crumpled to the floor...<That...creep...> was all she could get out before she went unconcious.

Jae skidded to a stop and glared, then aimed, following the Visser as he flew. She made sure her aim was spot on as he landed and started firing straight at his chest as her tail whipped forward, the blade aimed at his neck.

Cassie skidded to a stop on her own as the hork-bajir moved. She watched in horror as the hork-bajir attacked Rachel.
<RACHEL!> She ran forward trying to figure out how to take this guy down.
Shianna saw the tiger headed her way and went to aim, but let go when he got to her. "Stupid human host..."

After Jake had taken down Cassie's boss, he went to other controllers taking them down. Though he stopped when he noticed what had happened to Rachel. That signaled that they needed to get out of here.
<<Everyone! We need to get out now! Can someone wake up or carry Rachel?>> he called out in thoughtspeak to his friends. They need to get out now.

That made Tobias charge too, slashing at the Hork-bajir who'd attacked Rachel. But when Jake said it was get-out time, he said <I knew this morph would be a help. I've got her> He lifted her carefully, making sure his arm blades weren't in a position to cut her as he was carrying her. He noticed that as he did that, he could still defend himself with the blades on his tail, and he swung it at the controllers around him.

Visser 7 felt pain erupt from his arm, and had to dive back the avoid the Andalite. The Visser looked down and realized that it was not his arm, but the stump that had been his arm. He looked up, seeing both the Andalite and wolf guarding the downed bear, and the rest of the battle was converging on his area. Now was not a good time for fighting, even though yeerk reinforcements were pouring in.
"This is not over Andalite" he said, locking eyes with his foe "you and I will finish this later."
Even as he spoke the Visser shot off, taking to bounds and launching himself into the yeerk pool, using it to shield himself.

Jae screamed and moved to run after him, completely engrossed in her need for vengeance. She started to morph the squid again, starting to move towards the pool as she did. She didn't care about the others now. She just wanted to finish what she started. She fired continuously into the pool where he had entered. She watched as the water began to heat up, reaching boiling as she continued to morph.

Cassie saw Jaealimi morphing so she ran towards Jae, telling Jake, <I'll be right back!>
Then she reached Jaealimi, she said, <Jaealimi, don't do this. We have to go. Rachel will be fine, all right? Come on...>

She spun and aimed the Dracons at Cassie as she ran at her, then froze in mid morph. She blinked and looked over at Rachel as she demorphed, then morphed into a large ape-like creature and ran over, taking Rachel from Tobias like she weighed nothing, then starting up the stairs. Once out of there, she continued running for a while till she was sure they were safe. She set Rachel down as the others arrived, then slowly walked off to the side and demorphed, her legs folding beneath her as she collapsed in an upset heap. She put her head in her hands and her stalk eyes folded inward as she began to tremble.

Tobias was actually glad Rachel had been taken from him, her bear morph wasn't easy to carry even in hork-bajir morph. He knew he'd have dropped her in a moment.
When they got outside, Tobias morphed back to human and went to Rachel, hoping he could get her to wake up. "Come on, come back to me" he said. He didn't want to lose her a second time.
