Bond could hear M's voice clearly over his car's communication system. "Bond, this latest mission should pose no difficulties for you, but it is very important. Three nights ago, an Andalite diplomatic convoy was ambushed. One of the survivors delivered us some troubling information: the convoy was carrying an Escafil Device; a morphing cube. That cube has since gone missing. We cannot allow this technology to fall into hostile hands. You must retrieve that cube at all costs. You are to meet with Domingo Barzzini, an illicit arms dealer and a useful source of information. We suspects he knows something about this. You are to find out what it is and pursue it."
Q's voice came next. "Bond, we've equipped you with several new gadgets that will aid you in this mission. In addition to your watch, sun glasses, and tracer coins, I've built a dart gun into your mobile phone. It will incapacitate any hostile individual without killing them."
"I see the point in that," Bond replied.
"Really, Double O Seven, sometimes I think you don't even listen to yourself. Do your best to return these items intact; though I'm already preparing replacements."
Bond switched off the communicator and pulled the car over. There was a man in a red hat eating an ice cream sundae on one of the benches in the park. Bond sat down next to him. "They tell me the pigeons don't want to be fed by us," the man said, giving the first line of the agreed upon code.
"Then we'll have to make due with the squirrels," Bond responded, giving the second line.
The man reached out his hand. "Domingo Barzzini. You're the British Customs agent they sent about the cube?"
"Either that or I'm the world's greatest spy," Bond replied. "What do you know about it?"

Trina sat in the park alone. Trina started singing. "We're running slow, through the glow, on sixth avenue..." She shook her head. "That isn't right." She erased the words and leaned her head against her hand. "We're driving slow, through the snow on fifth avenue..." Her eyes lit up excited. She found the words! Quickly jotting them down, Trina ran to the piano and started playing, finally she sang the whole song that she had just written. Trina ran and called her foster parents. "I got the words! I'm going to turn it in now, love you bye!" she left the message on the answering machine. Today was a good day. I Hate This Part (And yes, the person singing it is the play by for Trina XD)

007 listened while Barzzini told him about an underground auction that was going to take place soon. He expected the cube to be offered to the highest bidder there. Bond resolved to investigate it later that day. Something caught his eye, though. A woman walking over to a piano. "Excuse me, Doming. There's something that needs my attention."
Bond listened silently as she played her song. "A lovely tune, miss...?"

Trina had her head down when she heard a man's voice. She jumped and looked at him questioningly. "Hello. Oh!" She realized what he meant. "Reich. Katrina Reich." She held her hand out. "Trina for short. You are?"

"The name's Bond." He smiled. James Bond. You're quite the pianist. I've been known to dabble myself." Bond sat down on the bench beside her and started tapping out a tune. [OOC: This one here.]

Trina listened to the tune with her eyes closed. "That sounds neat. Is that the James Bond theme?" she teased. "So what brings you here in the middle of winter?"

"I'm here on business," he answered honestly. "But I intend to make it pleasure. Is there anything you would recommend for someone new to America? I'm sure you'll be able to think of something."

Trina thought a moment. "Well, it depends on what you like," she said smiling. "Since I presume you like music, there's a concert tonight. I can give you a free pass." She had almost forgotten the concert she was doing.

"I always enjoy a free pass," Bond smiled. "I'll be sure to be there. Do you have plans for afterward? If not, I'm sure we can come up with something."

"Well, generally my band and I have a party afterwards, but I don't have to go to that," Trina smiled. She had hoped to find some information about her sister Amy Lyons. That could wait for another day though.

"Well, I'm sure we can think of something. Would you care to go for a drive?" Bond pressed a button on his keys. A few moments later, his car rolled up to him and the passenger door swung open. "I've found that nothing concludes a day in the park quite as well as a nice ride."

Trina looked at the car in amazement. "It moves on its own? Sure, a ride would be nice." She smiled as she stood up and jumped in the car. "Where are we going?"

"When we get there, I think we'll know," he told her. Meaning, of course, that he had no clue. He drove around for a bit, not sure where to go. But something in the rear-view mirror caught his eye. A dark-blue car seemed to be following him. That wouldn't have alarmed him, but he noticed an identical vehicle somewhat farther back.
"It appears we might have some company, Trina. I'd suggest holding on tightly." Then he jammed his foot on the accelerator. Bond had a lot of experience being chased in cars, and his instincts were usually right about these sorts of things. Trina was in for more excitement than she had realized.

Trina looked back at the car and then held on. "I'd ask why they were after you, but I don't think it's you they're after." It was true. She recognized the car that had been watching her since she moved into the city. "Can you get rid of them?"

That's a change of pace, Bond said to himself. If they were after Trina, odds were that they weren't as good as some of the others who had chased him over the hears. "Not a problem." Bond started driving even faster. The road up ahead was a bit crowded, but that was fine by him.
He started weaving in and out of traffic. To his surprise, the cars were still managing to follow. "Persistent Persistent, aren't they? What exactly did you do them, Trina?" Then he had an idea. "And where's the nearest parking garage?"
