Marco would have smiled had he been human. Instead, he let out a thoughtspeak laugh, <You did great.>
He slowed to a gentle trot as he headed up the driveway. Feeling her arms around his neck was reasuring. His favourite car might be gone, but at least he still had Amy...and that was the more important thing.

Amy smiled as she heard Marco's laugh in her head. "I'm sorry about your car, baby." She said as they trotted down the driveway. "I'm sure we could get it tomorrow. It overheated on me, is all." She knew it was his favorite car, and she also knew Amy was more important to him than the car. Marco was the most important to her, him and the kids, of course, and was grateful for having them in her life.

Eva had come downstairs not long after her father left and had seen the news. Since then, she;d been panicking and worrying. When she heard horse hooves pounding on the floor, she ran out. "Mom! Dad!" She met up with them as they got to the house. "Are you two all right?" Her eyes brimmed with tears.

Marco slowed to a stop when he saw Eva coming towards them. She seemed worried, and had evidently seen the news. He gave a nod of his equine head, <We're alright, Princess.>

Eva breathed a sigh of relief. "You two scared me for a minute." She waited for her mother to jump down to give her a hug and her father one too.
